ALGO DEL DÍA A DÍA POR ESTAS FECHAS {A MATTER OF ROUTINE AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR}

Llega la temporada en la que empiezo a revisar mis libros de jardinería.

The period of time when I start to revise my books of flowers and gardening has arrived.

Cuando hago esto siempre me acuerdo que UNA VEZ MÁS, olvidé plantar los bulbos, pero bueno, el año que viene lo apuntaré.

When I go back to this matter I always realise that ONCE AGAIN I forgot to plant the bulbs I thought I could plant, okay once again I´ll have to take good note of it. My head sometimes doesn´t work properly.

Y podar mis árboles y abonar todas las plantas.

Prune some of my bushes and feed all my plants.

Si, volverlo a apuntar

Yes!, I need to take good note of everything.

Y ver todos los recortes de mis revistas con patios, jardines y terrazas maravillosas en los que me gustaría plantar y estar.

And read my magazine pages through, with all those wonderful and awesome patios, gardens and terraces where I´d love to plant and be.

Y aprender cómo voy a controlar a mi guisante ornamental. Una planta trepadora, tremendamente invasiva que da unas flores preciosas con un aroma increíble.

And try to learn how am I going to control my sweet pea, a climbing plant with sweet-smelling flowers that gives me beautiful flowers in pale colors but which is a very invasive species.

Y mientras yo me empeño en que mi terraza siga limpia, los mirlos me vuelven loca y se empeñan en sacarme todos los días la tierra de la jardinera.

And while I try to keep my place clean and tidy, those black mirlos (blackbirds) are driving me mad, messing my compost up, and spreading it all over my terrace´s floor.

¡Yo no se lo que están buscando!, probablemente lombrices u otros insectos varios. Pero yo voy a buscar la forma de que no me lo vuelvan a poner todo hecho un asco. Además, todas las semillas que planto desaparecen. Vamos un desastre.

I don´t know what they are looking for!, probably bugs or some kind of worms. Well, whatever, I´m going to try to look for a way to keep them out of my compost and not leave my terrace in a complete mess. Besides, all the seeds planted, dissapeared. Nothing to get too excited about, but for sure, an inconvenience.
