BIZCOCHO DE MIEL Y ACEITE DE OLIVA {HONEY AND OLIVE OIL CAKE}

We are already in Autumn, well, ok tomorrow. In fact today feels like Autumn. It may sound a bit weird, I´m sure there are many people still sunbathing, sitting outside in the sun while in my house, I´ve already got ridden of my swimming suits and my oven has been already working.

Today I felt like baking. Obviously tomorrow this cake will be out somewhere. My kitchen smells beautifully now.

This is another extremely easy cake, all in one!, you know for the ones who don´t want to mix, whisk, beat or whatever.

INGREDIENTS - SERVES 8
300g self raisin flour. (If you don´t have self raisin flour, add a tsp of baking powder)
2dl olive oil
2dl honey
4 eggs
Butter to grease the mold
I´ve added some poppy seeds  (optional)
If you want you can sprinkle the cake with some icing sugar too, I haven´t done this today.

PROCEDIMIENTO - METHOD
Precalentar el horno a 180º

Preheat the oven to 180º

En una batidora, echar el aceite.

In a food processor, pour the olive oil.

Y la miel.

And the honey.

Y darle un buen meneo.

And give it a good shake!.

And add the eggs, one by one, beating each egg before adding the following one.

Y añadimos la harina y seguimos batiendo.

And we add the flour and we keep on whisking.

Hasta que obtenemos esta mezcla.

Until we get the mixture below.

And at this point, I added a handful of poppy seeds, I love poppy seeds!.

Y mezclamos. Y obtendremos esta mezcla.

And we mix again. And then we finally have the mixture.

Grease the baking tin and line with greaseproof paper also greased.

Echar la mezcla. Hornear durante 45 minutos.

Pour the mixture into the baking tin. Bake the cake for 45 minutes.

¡Que lo disfrutéis!.

Enjoy it!.

No es un pastel muy dulce.

This is not a very sweet cake.

Pero está muy bueno.

But it´s really yummy!.
