Ya se que toda gran ciudad cuenta con historias, algunas son verdad y otras parte de la imaginación. Las leyendas de Praga están envueltas en magia y misterio, ya que durante siglos y siglos la ciudad fue refugio de alquimistas, astrólogos, santos mártires y monstruos.
We all know big cities are connected with stories, well it´s possible that some of them are even true and others part of a vivid imagination. The Czech lands are full of magical stories about legends, myths and ghosts and Prague is literally full of tales of the night. For ages, Prague has been the refugee of alchemist, astrologers, martyrs and monsters.
Situación de Praga: En el centro de Europa y además en el centro de la república Checa. Rodean sus fronteras Polonia, Slovakia, Alemania y Austria. Tiene un millón de habitantes, se habla el Checo, que es un idioma imposible de pronunciar, y en invierno hace un frío que......en fin......horroroso. La primera noche, que es cuando saqué estas fotos porque llegamos como a las 7 de la tarde, parecía que iba a aparecer una manada de lobos en cualquier momento corriendo entre sus calles. La ciudad es preciosa, un poco gótica diría yo.
Basic information about Prague: It´s in the center of Europe and in the center of Czech republic. Borders with Poland, Germany, Slovakia and Austria. Population, 1 million people. They speak Czech, an impossible language, and believe me, it was freezing cold that first night, and in winter the weather conditions are horrible. The first night, this is when I took the pictures I´m showing in this (my first) post about this trip, it was aroound 7 p.m. and it was as if a pack of wolves was going to appear running. The city is awesome, kind of a gothic place I would say.
¿No parece una ciudad encantada?. Solo los que la visitan pueden juzgar o preguntarse si algo se esconde entre los adoquines de estas calles tan sorprendentes.
Is the city of Prague haunted?. Only you can be the judge of that as you wander through the cobblestone mazelike streets.
Con el tiempo justo para irnos a cenar y entrar en calor después del paseíto, nos metemos en un restaurante en la calle Pärizská 24, Restaurante Barock.
La sopa de remolacha (Borscht) es mi primera opción. Mi amiga Hanka, que es Polaca dice que la hace de otra forma diferente, un día haré su receta y la pondré en el blog.
We don´t have much time to see , it´s dinner time and we need to warm our souls (it´s freezing), I love this expression. So after a short walk, we chose what we thought it was going to be a good option, Barock restaurant in 24 Pärizská st., and in the end it was great. The first thing I´ve eaten in Prague was the beetroot soup (Borscht soup), I loved it. My friend Hanna, who is Polish, told me she doesn´t make it this way. One of these days she´s going to give me the recipe so I can post it in the blog.
La sopa estaba increíble....ya no tengo frío para cuando la termino.
The soup was yummy....and when I finish it, the temperature of my body has risen a bit, thank God.
Un goulash y un apple strudel y la cena ha terminado. Nos vamos a dormir que mañana nos espera un día de patear mucho.
A goulash and an apple strudel will do for tonite. We´re going to sleep soon, tomorrow we have a long way walking around the city.
Ahora ya sabés por qué he estado unos días un poco out.

Pero que callandito te lo tenías, me alegro de que hayas disfrutado mucho, aunque seguro hacia mucho frío, dicen que sarna con gusto no pica, no conozco Praga, pero lo dejaremos para cuando las temperaturas estén un pico más alt, desde luego toda ciudad tiene su encanto y esta no va a ser menos, mira solo imaginarte que van a pasear lobos por la ciudad, ya es un atractivo, besotes guapísima

Mi querida amiga, es mi asignatura pendiente, este viaje, y me he alegrado mucho ver que has estado alli, a ver si con suerte esta año puedo visitarlo, me han encantado tus fotos y como nos describes ese lindo pais . Mil besicos y gracias por esta linda entrada eres un cielo
