We´ve spent the past weekend in Alesanco (La Rioja), at some friend´s apartment.

Vale, confieso, no he visto el pueblo.

Okay, I have to confess I didn´t even visited the village. I have to confess that everything we did (H. and me) was chat and chat, watch films (romantic of course) as if we never, ever watched a film before, and rest, and looked like two lazy housewives, but we don´t care what the rest of the world thinks about this. Okay, we went to Ezcaray to have some drinks before lunch and for some tapas and we went out for lunch with our hubbies, so I was thinking I´ll have to go back and go around the place.

We could come back to swim in that swimming-pool (now covered), and when the weather is not so foggy.

I don´t know in which list I should put these puff pastry bow ties. For breakfast?, as a snack?, for dessert?. Well, this is a very quick, very very easy sweet to make, whatchamacallit, because also happens to be very impressive. The best part is to go to your grocery store and by frozen or not ready made puffed pastry, have some honey on hand and some icing sugar and that is, this is magical!!.  I saw them in tito´s blog, and I said to myself: "I have to make this!".

LACITOS DE HOJALDRE - PUFF PASTRY BOW TIES

INGREDIENTES - salen unos 26
2 placas de hojaldre comprado en el super.
Miel para echar por encima del hojaldre
Azúcar glas para espolvorear.

INGREDIENTS - MAKES AROUND 26
2 packets of ready made puff pastry bought in your grocery store
Honey to spread all over it.
Some icing sugar to sprinkled over the bow ties

PROCEDIMIENTO - METHOD

Precalentar el horno a 200º

Preheat the oven to 200º

Roll one of the puff pastries over a board or a table and spread the honey all over it.

Cover the puff pastry and the honey with the other puff pastry.

Hacer líneas con un cuchillo.

Make some cuts, following the lines with a knife.

Y cortarlas por la mitad también

And cut them half.

One by one, twist them and place them on a baking tray with wax paper.

Hasta terminar con todos los lacitos.

Until you´ve done all the bow ties.

Bake them for about 20 minutos or until golden. Sprinkle some icing sugar over the bow ties.

Ahora decirme que esto no es facilísimo.

Now, tell me this isn´t extremely easy.

This is not my I. Let me introduce you to M., my friend´s hubby who apparently wanted to eat them all. No way! we said, with the beautiful smell, and they were so good a bit warm.

¡LISTO!
DONE!
